Ilex x altaclerensis 'Golden King'
In spite of its name this is a female holly and needs a male one nearby for the berries to form. There is a 'Silver Queen' which we have which confusingly is a male holly. Golden King has smooth leaves with yellow colour round the edges.

View up the garden
The mild weather during the latter part of October has enabled many plants to continue flowering and several roses have had a repeat flowering.
