Having had a fairly mild winter, it all changed this week with temperatures dropping and heavy snow fell last night. There was about 8-10cm of snow in the back garden with no bird or animal tracks visible. The cat would not go far outside today and has mainly stayed in the warm.
The Downs were heavily covered in snow and there were lots of people sledging down the slopes.
It is supposed to freeze again tonight, but no more snow is forecast, thankfully.
