Rosa 'Tranquility'

We have tried to revitalise this bed by taking out an agapanthus, which we put in a pot, a huge clump of hardy geraniums and a hardy fuchsia that had become rather tired looking. We have planted this rose, which is a musk rose with large scented flowers. It should make a good shrub. Behind it is Lavatera maritima and several wallflowers underplanted with tulips. There are also Narcissi 'Thalia' a white petalled narcissus at the back of the border. Next summer I would quite like to grow hardy annuals in the gaps.
