Bambi's Holly

Ilex aquifolium

This particular holly was planted in 2002 to remember our pet guinea pig, Bambi. It was only a small seedling at the time and has now grown to about a metre or so. It is variegated and this year has bright red berries. It is good to have plants in the garden which are associated with different people or animals.
