These tubers came from Avon bulbs and arrived mid April. They have been planted up in large pots and kept in the greenhouse to get them started. Last year every single dahlia I tried to grow was eaten alive and destroyed by slugs and snails. I am hoping that by the time these are planted out in a few weeks they will be big enough to avoid total destruction. The varieties I am growing are Jescot Julie, Chat Noir and Ambition. Maybe there will be some flowers this year.
