Escallonia



Escallonia  is a shrub that is often suggested for seaside gardens. It is evergreen with glossy leaves and has pink flowers in late spring. Good for hedging it is hardy. A shrub that is quite undemanding and drought and wind tolerant. It grows to around 2m in height and can be pruned after flowering in early summer.
