The flower attracted me to this plant which we got from Kiftsgate Court gardens. It is also known as the tree mallow and grows to about 1 - 1.5 metres in height. It should be happy on our chalky ground and although short lived can be propagated by soft wood cuttings in spring or by sowing seed.
