A new planter
We were given some garden vouchers and bought this beautiful large planter, which is "lead lite" and meant to be long lasting and frost proof. I have planted tulips at the bottom and have gone for a vivid colour scheme with 'Ballerina' which is orange and 'Doll's Minuet' which is bright pink. They should flower in May. There are also some Thalia narcissi which are white and flower in April and nearer the top crocus 'Blue Pearl' flowering in February/March. To provide interest over the winter are a eucalyptus, Carex 'Red Rooster', Carex 'Amazon Mist', a dwarf Helichrysum italicum, a couple of violas, two polyanthus and a couple of pulmonarias.
